We lost one third of the Jewish People just a few years ago.
Do you know there is a "Silent Spiritual Holocaust" going on? We are losing good kids every day!

Sound exaggerated?
Sadly, it is becoming statistical fact. We are losing our youth.
The numbers say it all...
Did you know that in America half of Jewish young men don't marry Jewish girls?
Their children aren't Jewish.
The loss to the Jewish people is immense.
The religious community is NO LONGER IMMUNE to these kinds of threats. More than ever before, religious youths are turning away from the Torah path that could give them life and light.
Our kids are leaving!
"I was kicked out of every school and I didn't care."
Rabbi Speiser really listened to me. He made me feel like a person. Like it was worth it to try. He helped me understand I was hurting myself.

Every kid has his or her story. The stories are often hard.
Many times kids are dealing with very real and difficult home
or school situations that are beyond their coping level.
These children are troubled, confused, hurting.
They are often easy prey for unhealthy influences offering relief, such as drugs, crime or promiscuity.
Parents and teachers watch self destructive behaviors that they are helpless to stop.
These are real life problems and these kids need real answers and assistance.
These kids need someone to talk to.
They need answers. Answers that will help them understand their lives.
Answers that will help them cope with serious problems.
Kids blinded by pain often can't appreciate
-or even relate to- the Torah as the guiding light it should be.
They do not understand how the Torah helps one to lead a happy, productive life.
It's just more words and rules forced on them.
They can't relate it to their own lives in a personal way.

Rabbi Moshe Speiser, the founder and director of Kav Baruch has been living in Israel for over 25 years. He founded the Kav Baruch crisis hotline in response to the growing need for guidance and support for the religious, English speaking community.
Rabbi Speiser has been active in community affairs and has been counseling families and teens for the past 15 years. In addition he has led community Shabbat groups for teens since 1991. Rabbi Speiser helped found a drop-in center in Jerusalem that caters to troubled youth, and has hosted a radio show dealing with educational and marital issues. Through the hotline, he meets and counsels teens and parents daily.
A crisis intervention and counseling hotline was chosen as the most effective means of dealing with the alarming situation in Israel's religious community.
Anonymity- Callers have freedom of expression without fear of exposure.
No charge for calls - Those who find professional services cost-prohibitive can get the help
they need, and the relationship between counselor and caller is not strained by financial
considerations.
Easy availability- just a phone call away.
Scope - A call-in service reaches a much larger segment of the population than one-on-one
or group counseling programs.
During its 5 years of service, Kav Baruch has logged in over 5000 calls from all over the world, and has had more than 500 meetings with both teens and parents. While many callers are one-time callers, seeking a reference or quick advice, most are repeat callers, who are in continual need of either emotional or practical assistance while their crisis is ongoing.
Kav Baruch has assisted dozens of families by recommending different schools, therapists, and addiction rehab centers.
Rabbi Speiser's hot-line is the only one in Israel that works specifically with the religious English-speaking public.

"QUESTIONS (you thought) WE WERE AFRAID YOU WOULD ASK and ANSWERS YOU'VE BEEN WAITING TO HEAR".
The book addresses the following questions that Teens ask:
I was very impressed when I read your book "Questions". Very helpful, it clarified many things. No one ever explained it to me as clearly as your book did.
